My Take: This was one of my top three favorite historical novels ever - no, scratch that, one of my top three favorite love stories ever! This novel was such a potent mixture of emotion, heartache, laughter, tears, joy, sorrow, and elation and that you'll probably rip yourself bald by the end of the story. Don't worry, it's more than worth the cost of buying a wig! =) I can't wait for the next in the series - like, willing-to-camp-out-at-the-bookstore-overnight-can't-wait. (though really, to any serious bookworm, I guess that's not realy much of a sacrifice huh?) Regardless, don't miss this intriguing, heartwarming tale.
