Contest & Giveaway with Robin Jones Gunn!

GREAT NEWS!

I will be giving away FIVE brand new copies of Robin Jones Gunn's recent release "Take Flight", courtesy of Multnomah Books, a Division of Random House, Inc. "Take Flight" is a devotional book Robin co-wrote with Cindy Hannan. It is designed for women, and even more importantly, for Sisterchicks!

To enter the contest, leave a comment to this blog. In the comment, tell me which Robin Jones Gunn book is your favorite and why. On December the 15th I'll have my sweet husband draw names (to keep it fair!) The first five names he draws wins a free copy of "Take Flight", postage paid!

You don't want to miss out on winning this book! Enter now! If you don't win, here's a link to buy the devotional. And just in time for Christmas!

My favorite is Sisterchicks in Gondolas!

If for no other reason, because they were in Venice. Venice is my dream vacation, and Robin made it so real to me.

And what's better than a story about traveling to Venice and coming back with a renewed spirit and a stronger faith in our awesome God.

By the way, Betsy, I saw the book cover on Malia's website! Congrats, big time sister!

I'm not entering the contest, just can't keep my two cents to myself! =) My favorite book of Robin's is Whispers, in her Glenbrooke series. I love all her books, especially the Glenbrooke series, but Whispers just really spoke to my heart as a teenager and set me on the road to writing fiction. God knew what He was doing when He put that book in my hands. I can only pray one of my stories touches someone's heart in the same way one day...

The Christy series is my favorite. They were the first books I read by Robin.

Please enter me in the contest!

Waterfalls from the Glenbrooke series cracks me up every time! And I've read it (or at least my favorite parts) probably eight times. My hubby will hear me laughing and come investigate. "Oh . . . you're reading that book again," he says. I know he wonders what's so funny, but I'm usually laughing too hard to explain. (Which is okay, because usually my explanations aren't that funny, LOL)

And I agree with you, Betsy-- Whispers is wonderful. Love them all. Choosing just one is like trying to choose between Dove milk chocolate or dark chocolate. What's a girl to do?

Loved Sister Chicks on the Loose! A friend saw me reading it, then she told her sister, and she told another friend, now there's a ton of Robin Gunn fans around here!
